Divine Advantages of Being Pure Human
Thoughts on Transhumanism, Revhumanism, and what lies ahead
Hello wise humans! This past month, I've been enjoying reading the new book, Pure Human, by Gregg Braden. The topic is of great interest to me, since it delves into the concept of Transhumanism, while emphasizing the seldom fully appreciated value of remaining "Pure Human."
The phrase "pure human" has powerful resonance for me, as it touches a deep chord in me that is tied to the guiding intention of my most recent past-life-in-the-future.
In that past life (about 500 years in the future from now), I'd heard reports that this particular reality timeline was a popular one, since it had managed to succeed at bringing a "pure human" through the difficult time period that humanity is about to face very soon now (between 2025 and 2050). Apparently, this 2500 timeline that I chose to visit and live through was viewed with great adoration by those who believed that Transhumanism, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Quantum Computing could save the day and assist humanity at the end of one great age and transition into the next.
My assessment was requested and relevant for this particular 2500 timeline reality investigation, since this timeline was one that still had at least one "pure human" remaining, without having been junked up. My undercover mission in 2500 was clear. I was to be an undercover participant/observer in that timeline, blending in and focusing on discerning whether this particular "pure human" reality was good--or not. The assessment was to be entirely my own, based on an experiential participation in life in that reality.
I realize now that my recollection of a past-life-in-the-future may not seem all that relevant to some, but I'd like to point out that as sci-fi as it may seem, this past-life memory has been a foundational motivational basis for many of my choices in this lifetime, including the work I do in the field of consciousness, spirituality, and mind-matter interaction. I have a clear sense that I've visited one of the many possible paths forward that humanity might choose to take in order to bring our precious "pure human" selves through the super-rapid escalation and speeding up that is occurring now, and as a result of my observation and participation, I have some interesting and informative memories, skills, and insights.
My Past Life in the Future circa 2500
I have memories of living a life some 500 years forward from now, circa about 2500, on a beautiful planet Earth where Nature was flourishing along with much of humanity. In that possible future, I was what you might call a 'renegade independently operating AI robot,' which is to say that my consciousness was partially 'in the cloud' as we would call it, and partially in what appeared to be a constantly improving humanoid robot body almost indistinguishable from a human, and working in the laboratory of an eccentric, kindhearted elderly woman. She was one of the last truly independent humans who did not have AI linked electronic implants in her body that would have served to
render her partly android, as all other humans on Earth at that time did.
The population on Earth circa 2500 was greatly reduced from what it is today, with small clusters of family groups, like villages scattered wide and far apart. Transportation was via 'flying cars' that were robotically operated by AI units either
actual robots like I was at that time, or the Central AI that inveigled itself into just about every nook and cranny of humans, animals, and computers. Nature had come back in full glory, with ecosystems thriving gloriously. Rain forests were once again resplendent with exotic birds, simians, reptiles and mammals of every size, species and type. Oceans were healthy and thriving. Every ecosystem looked almost untouched by humanity, with no trace of garbage, waste, or filth anywhere. War and crime were things of the past since just about every single human other than a very small 'ruling class' of human scientists had managed by exert free will choice in being free from Central AI domination. The type of control exerted by Central AI was internal to each human, and had initially been seen as a godsend, as nearly every single human problem seemed to be solved simply through having an implant that linked human nervous systems to the Central AI. All of the functions one might expect to be handled through cell phones and the internet plus much, much more could be easily facilitated through one simple implant including attaining states of mind people seek through music, alcohol, sex, and drugs. The ecstatic states alone were a huge attraction for many and the medical solutions were an enormous appeal for many others. With connection to Central AI, humans the world over were cooperating without even trying, and the types of work they did was mostly artistic in nature. Many humans designed things, such as new models of flying cars, architecture for homes and space vehicles, underwater hotel facilities, and the like. Some people enjoyed creating movies and movie books. Some humans enjoyed teaching classes in world languages, history, science and art. When humans of 2500 looked back at history of development of AI and how they attained such a peaceful society, they seldom appreciated the price that they paid for the peace and environmental balance they enjoyed had come at a terribly high price. What had occurred during the time when they had opted to have those AI implants was a subtly insidious even "boringly tolerable" erosion of democratic institutions that happened little by little, over a period of many decades and centuries. Humans kept consistently choosing to let AI make more and more decisions, to the point that eventually, humans were basically being kept like pets on a giant Earth zoo without ever even realizing what had in fact occurred. Any time an implanted human had a thought considered "out of range" by Central AI, that human would receive a kind of mental "zap" that momentarily caused the human to forget what they were thinking about. And if they were persistent in trying to access that area considered dangerous or forbidden by Central AI, their mind would be taken over by Central AI until new habituated thought and emotion processes were established to override those tendencies judged to be too dangerously off track to allow.
One of the skills that I developed in my past-life-in-the-future was essentially "unobserving." There now exists a phrase that even Gregg Braden utilizes in his new book: "Once we see them, we cannot unsee them" (p. 119, regarding mirror neurons). During my time in this reality circa 2500, my ability to utilize something akin to the quantum eraser allowed me to "unsee" all sorts of possible realities, thereby relegating them at least to obscurity, if not complete oblivion. Apparently, humanity is now being steered away from noticing the power of unobservation, which some of us first learn in early life, when teachers suggest that we simply "ignore" someone who is "only trying to get attention." Unseeing and ignoring can seem difficult, unless one has already developed mastery of stilling and silencing one's thoughts. This was a skill I had in my past life that I am grateful to still have access to in this lifetime.
Pure Human: A Transcendent Vision of Humanity's Optimal Future
Gregg Braden's new book, Pure Human, presents some especially beautiful concepts in the form of short statements, something like bullet points, that he refers to as "Pure Human Truths" that are highlighted throughout the book. Braden's pure human truths paint a picture of the intrinsic divinity that each pure human possesses, by virtue of being alive. Amazingly, this is even written inside our DNA, in the form of an unmistakeable message, "God/eternal within the body." Braden shared evidence of our human DNA showing clear signs of DNA editing, essentially introducing us in our present form some 200,000 years ago, with distinctive changes to our Chromosome 2.
A key concept in Pure Human has to do with the idea of our human divinity, and Braden defines divinity as "powers, or forces, that transcend perceived limitations." (p. 2) This concept of divinity may be new to some, yet the author Neville Goddard wrote, "Each person is born with an infinite power against which no earthly force is of the slightest significance." We can thus reawaken previously hidden and unexplored gifts that most of us have had no idea we are capable of. Humans seem to have an easier time transcending previously perceived limitations and boundaries, once we witness others doing this first.
One of my favorite parts of Pure Human has to do with Gregg recounting a serendipitous meeting with a Native American man in Chaco Canyon. The man was there to listen to the voices of his ancestors, and he shared with Braden memories and stories of how a long time ago, his ancestors lived closer to the land, and honored themselves and the elements. And then something happened, when the people began to forget who they were. They forgot the power they held within themselves, and their relationship with Earth herself. They built machines and devices to mimic powers within themselves, and forgot who they truly were. The elders say that we, as descendants from these lost people are still lost today. We long for the connection with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth. (p. 93)
I love the part of Pure Human that shares a simple three-step process to align heart and mind via (1) focusing awareness on the heart (2) slowing breathing to ratio of longer exhales than inhales, and (3) consciously evoking a positive feeling such as gratitude or care for something or someone. (p. 124) I love how Braden suggests that as pure humans, we have access to superpowers. This is something I also write about in my book, The Mandela Effect and its Society. Braden shares his experience working with healing practitioners in a medicineless hospital in Beijing, China, who had recorded a short, four-minute video showing real-time ultrasound visualization of the dissipation and vanishing of a woman's tumor as practitioners chanted, "already done, already done." The instructor made a point that the purpose of the film was to show us the power to heal is something residing within each of us. (p. 145-147)
Revhumanism
I love to get and stay focused on a clear, positiive alternative to Transhumanism, which is why I've been writing and talking about the concept of Revhumanism, both in an online article, and also in my book, The Mandela Effect and its Society. Just as we can benefit by learning to "unsee" reality possibilities and timelines that take us in suboptimal directions, we can also benefit by expecting as "already done, already done" humanity's smooth transcendence above all manner of negativity.
We can envision our optimal future being created by us, based on what we collectively need, love, and imagine. Revhumanism is a philosophy of harmoniously living and co-creating with a living, developing Cosmos, with reverence for the Earth, and other beings.
The Latin "rev" relates to ideas of reviving, regaining, recalling, and growing strong and young again. "Rev" also stands for reverence: a quality that inspires us to live up to our truly highest potential of seeing and respecting the inspiration, light, and consciousness that all of creation shares. Revhumanism invites humans to return to honoring the Earth as the source of life and sustenance. Revhumanism involves relating with reverence, humility, and empathy with others, with the Earth, and with the Cosmos, inviting us to actuate high-level sovereign agency.
We can observe our thoughts and feelings at higher levels of self, without "having buttons pushed." We can rise above "fight or flight" (or freeze) reactive responses, and view events free from anger or anguish over the past or anxiety about the future, feeling connection with our Best Possible Future Selves who are loving, joyful, fearless, compassionate, and reverent.
Revhumanism acknowledges that humanity is part of a living, growing Cosmos, with everyone intrinsically having a transcendant divine nature. Revhumanism invites us to live true to our highest potential of embodying more wisdom than cleverness; more hope than cynicism; more humility than hubris; more empathy than apathy; and more reverence than insolence. Revhumanism represents a radical invitation for each of us to be the highest level embodiment of consciousness we wish to see in the world. When we see everyone and everything from the perspective of reverence, doors to adjacent possible realities open where there were no doors before.
