Glimpsing Our Future
How can a movie help us envision our optimal path forward?
“[The aliens] regard empathy
as our foremost evolutionary advantage.”
— Hugo Wakefield (Colman Domingo) in Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day
Hello wise humans!
I recently enjoyed seeing Steven Spielberg’s new movie, Disclosure Day, in the theater on opening day. I loved seeing Spielberg’s first blockbuster film about UFOs, Close Encounters of the Third Kind in the theater when it first came out 49 years ago, and I’ve long been impressed by the powerful cultural and societal impact that film has had. Close Encounters has done an amazing job of helping to guide us from 1977’s relative naivety regarding the UFO phenomena to this day and age of official declassification and release of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) records by the US government in 2026, amidst ongoing UFO disclosure by dozens of whistleblowers, and first-hand reports by scores of civilian experiencers. Some of the biggest changes over the past 49 years have to do with how we see ourselves in relationship to the UFO topic, with greater awareness that we humans have something to do with the phenomena in ways that transcend a materialistic focus on the “nuts and bolts” of how UFOs operate. This was part of Spielberg’s Close Encounters movie in 1977, and this part greatly expands in this year’s Disclosure Day.
J. Allen Hynek and Jacques Vallee
A big part of the reason that Close Encounters of the Third Kind made such a positive impact in the field of UFO research is that it featured a special appearance by real-life UFO researcher, historian, and whistleblower, J. Allen Hynek, who granted his blessing for Spielberg to use his terminology, “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” for the movie title. French film director Francois Truffaut played the role of UFO scientific investigator, Claude Lacombe, in the film, based on real-life UFO researcher, Jacques Vallee. This inclusion of real-world UFO whistleblowers and scientific researchers lent an air of respectability to the UFO topic, showing that this topic is something that world governments believe to be important enough to deserve millions (and perhaps billions) of dollars of funding, as well as elaborate cover-ups and secret operations, when deemed necessary.
While UFOs had been a subject of popular interest prior to 1977, people who talked about them publicly were typically ridiculed. The inclusion of real-life scientists being positively depicted in Close Encounters thus played a huge role in granting the UFO topic greater respectability, which has continued in the past 49 years. Close Encounters thus set the stage for such scholarly researchers as Pulitzer Prize-winning John Edward Mack to be taken seriously in the 1990s when he discussed first-hand reports he’d obtained from individuals describing their encounters with UFOs and ETs.
Colonel Philip Corso and Paola Harris
I’ve enjoyed hearing about Colonel Philip Corso’s UFO and ET experience from his friend, journalist and author Paola Harris, who knew Corso quite well for many years. One of Corso’s most extraordinary and sgnificant encounters involved meeting a being who had a remarkable conversation with him. Corso asked, “Friend or foe?” The being replied, “Neither.” Corso asked, “What do you have to offer?” and it replied, “A new world... if you can take it.” This message involves much more than nuts-and-bolts gains from reverse-engineering alien craft and technology. It indicates that humanity is on the threshold of obtaining knowledge requiring a greater degree of skillfulness and wisdom to handle responsibly, with greater awareness and honesty regarding who we are, and what reality truly is.
There is a growing awareness now in 2026 that some scientists with backgrounds in plasma physics and other scientific areas have gone missing. One of these is Air Force Major General Neil McCasland, who was photographed in an REI outdoor supply store near his house the day before his wife phoned to report he was gone. His wife now has stated that she believes he may have intentionally gone missing, noting he’d uncharacteristically left behind his phone, glasses, and tracker. Some elements of General McCasland’s work experience points to him having been aware of and involved with UFO related projects and materials. This actual situation of mysteriously vanishing and dead scientists and ex-military personnel with special backgrounds provides a real-world backdrop that sets the introductory mood for Spielberg’s new film, Disclosure Day, starting right where we now are in 2026. Disclosure Day‘s main plot revolves around the decision of some ex-employees of a secret government defense and data security company called Wardex to share all of the most sensitive and long-held secret UFO information with the world.
Josh O’Connor plays Danny Kellner in “Disclosure Day”
This year, 2026, happens to coincidentally be the first year that three initial tranches of USA’s UFO/UAP disclosure documents have been released. So far, these documents do not address the matter of our government having had over 70 years of time to analyze, dissect, and reverse engineer a great deal of craft and technologies—though none of this is mentioned either in the official American disclosure files, nor in the movie, Disclosure Day. Perhaps this is only to be expected, since genuine authentic disclosure involves finding some safe way to share technologies anticipated to include free energy and anti-gravity, as well as tools for strengthening/heightening psi abilities of telepathic communication and mind-matter influence.
What I was most interested in seeing in Disclosure Day was a vision of how humanity might best navigate this age of UFO disclosure, guiding us forward to our best possible future. This is a philosophical and political question, since clearly the military industrial complex has locked up a lot of restricted scientific discoveries and breakthroughs over the past 80 years, in the interest of national security. And perhaps there might be destabilization with massive ontological shock, if technologies like free zero point energy and anti-gravity were made available to people of Earth. While I would have loved for Disclosure Day to explore how to balance the need for public awareness of what’s been going on with somehow ensuring that nobody blows up the world with these new technologies, the film doesn’t show us how to successfully navigate all of this. When we recognize that Disclosure Day is more about us and less about other beings, we are likely to be more fully on track for where this movie can bring us in the next 50 years.
David Grusch in Washington D.C.
I loved many aspects of Disclosure Day, starting with how it explores tensions between those seeking disclosure who say, “We deserve to know the truth,” and those who are opposed who say, “You can’t handle the truth.” We can clearly see that this behind-the-scenes tug-of-war is underway in real life right now in 2026, as whistleblowers including David Grusch testify that our US government has secretly spent millions of dollars of taxpayer’s money without Congressional knowledge nor approval, while demanding official release of information for these secret programs. According to reports by Grusch and many others, American citizens are owed a treasure trove of advanced scientific and technological breakthrough information—and not just what is being officially released in the government’s UAP/UFO disclosure documents.
Richard Nixon in “Disclosure Day”
Disclosure Day features a scene from 1973, with then-President Ronald Reagon escorting his Hollywood friend, Jackie Gleason, to a top-secret government facility where non-human beings were stored. After 1973, apparently no further US presidents had such security lapses, nor would any even publicly discuss what they’d personally seen or become aware of after having been sworn in to office. In order to release this information to the American public—who paid for it—we need to envision how to grow up as a species enough to safely share this information and knowledge. We need to envision how good humanity’s future on Earth can get with such disclosure.
The military industrial complex shell game is reaching a pivotal tipping point, where a growing percentage of the population is aware that UFOs are real, that our government has been secretly studying alien technologies, and that the public has a right to know what our tax dollars have been spent illegally on for so many decades.
Secret Revelations—Hiding in Plain Sight
Colman Domingo plays Hugo Wakefield in “Disclosure Day”
I am impressed by the way that Disclosure Day emphasizes the importance of empathy. Even though there is a whole paragraph of dialogue spoken about empathy in the film, it’s true importance remains a kind of open secret, since the movie does not clarify and describe the most salient details regarding why empathy matters, aside from a line of dialogue spoken by the character, Hugo Wakefield, played by actor Colman Domingo:
“[The aliens] regard empathy as our foremost evolutionary advantage.”
Viewers might understandably dismiss the movie’s emphasis on empathy, perhaps considering it to be akin to other virtuous characteristics that humans might aspire to but seldom officially respect. In fact, scientific researchers have been discovering that empathy is much, much more than “something nice.” In the process of researching reality shifts, quantum jumps and the Mandela Effect, I have discovered that empathy is quite possibly the secret key behind experiencing mind-matter interactions—and two other researchers independently discovered the same thing, as I describe in my book, The Mandela Effect and its Society. I found that a relatively small percentage of the total general population experiences a disproportionally large percentage of reality shifts and the Mandela Effect. These “Intuitive-Feelers” on the Myers-Briggs scale are often High Sense Perceivers (HSPs) who are more likely to have extraordinary human experiences such as reality shifts, meaningful coincidences (a type or subset of reality shift) and the Mandela Effect.
One of the other researchers who independently came to similar conclusions is Dr. Bernard Beitman, author of Meaningful Coincidences, whose “coinciders” experiencing the most meaningful coincidences are viewing their lives from a couple of levels of awareness via self-referential thinking, associating external events as having personal significance. And a third researcher, Dr. Tarrin Lupo, found that 86% of people who “always considered themselves to be an Empath,” were the people most likely to have experienced the Mandela Effect. It seems clear to me, though Disclosure Day did not make this clear, that Empathy opens up gifts of shifting reality, telepathic communication, bilocation, invisibility, remote viewing, reading peoples’ minds as easily as billboards, and more.
At this juncture, I feel inspired to point out that empathy is sometimes misunderstood, or viewed with mistrust and concern. Some people point out that allowing oneself to see the world through another’s eyes might disadvantage or weaken us. Along this line of thinking, a relatively new phrase, “suicidal empathy,” was coined in the past five years to convey the idea that caring for others should not go so far that people risk their own survival by helping others. One could build a counter-argument to this by acknowledging that every virtuous quality remains virtuous when optimally adopted at a level that we have competence to incorporate with wisdom and discernment in our lives. Too much truth and honesty, for example, can be potentially harmful. It’s also worth noting how empathy in Disclosure Day is more than just empathy for one type of being—it’s an ability that might allow an individual to be experienced as someone beloved by another. They can thus blend in and be granted special access, as one character in Disclosure Day, Margaret Fairchild, played by Emily Blunt, demonstrates.
I love the way that Disclosure Day includes cover represenations of deer, cardinals, fox, and raccoon. I have cover memories of having had a long chat in my backyard with my mom and I talking to a nice man flying an airplane over our backyard when I was a little girl. I heard him say a friendly greeting like, “Hello, down there!” and I waved and said, “Hi!” back, and we talked for some time. I do not remember what we discussed, but only the sense of casual conversation one has with a neighbor who was walking by, but pauses to chat for a few minutes before continuing on. That’s pretty much what this pilot in the small plane did, or at least that’s what I remember of this incident. Only with 20:20 hindsight did this memory begin to seem quite unusual to me.
A New World—If We Can Take It
I loved the bookends of this movie, which seem to so far have gone unnoticed—starting with physically violent actions, and ending with the firm, soft-spoken advice to, “Listen.” This dichotomy of moving from forcefulness to awareness of the power of listening was something I particularly emphasized in my book, Reality Shifts, as this is another way to fast-track one’s quantum super-powers involving mind-matter influence. This word, “Listen,” was the last word of Disclosure Day, spoken with power even when power and backup power to that location had been powered off, yet devices functioned miraculously anyway. The juxtaposition between the film’s opening scene involving conquering through brute force and its ending scene involving listening and empathy is much more than it seems—it’s acknowledgement of the optimal path for each member of humanity now to step fully into being the best we can be. The stories we used to tell one another of conquest, empire-building, and winning by brute force are now giving way to new narratives involving knowing that what appears to be “outside” of us can be reached “inside.”
I love the overall message of Disclosure Day to, “Don’t be afraid of what you can’t understand.” This feels like uplifting encouragement to adopt a personality trait of Openness to new experiences—to rise above even fearful propaganda and attempts to control people through suppression or fear. We can make the future of humanity a good one, even when facing seemingly increasing chaos and challenges, knowing that mind-matter interaction is real, it’s here, and humanity as a whole is moving in a direction of mastering our own personal interior dialogue changes to be more respectful, positive, and harmonious.
Perhaps the key to making this transition involves setting aside childish “things” like senseless violence that was literally in our face in the opening scene of Disclosure Day, and moving toward adopting better character qualities. More evolved choices include choosing to listen more deeply, being open to new experiences, becoming more empathic and empathetic, and becoming aware that how we feel on the inside absolutely and positively influences what we experience on the outside. We can then discover that there are gifts of lucidly living in a state of flow when we Listen, and experiencing delightfully miraculous synchronicity and reality shifts when we have Empathy. With increased empathy and listening, we absolutely will increase the amount of synchronicity, meaningful coincidences, and wonderfully miraculous reality shifts and Mandela Effects in our lives.
How good can we get?

Extraordinary Secret Gifts in Spielberg’s Disclosure Day
16 June 2026
20 minutes
The movie, Disclosure Day, by writer-director Steven Spielberg was just released, and I saw it in the theater on opening day. I’d seen Spielberg’s first feature film on the topic of UFOs and ETs 49 years ago in the theater when it first came out, and this is an entirely different movie. In many ways, much has changed in the field of UFO history, social studies and science since 1977, and in other ways, not much has changed at all. And it seems to me that it’s within our awareness of what’s changed and what hasn’t that we can gain the greatest insights. A lot has happened in the span of 49 years. Close Encounters featured a cameo appearance by real-life UFO researcher, historian, and whistleblower, J. Allen Hynek, with Spielberg receiving Hynek’s blessing to use his terminology, Close Encounters of the Third Kind for his movie title. Another character in the film was based on real-life UFO researcher, Jacques Vallee. This inclusion of realistic anchoring of legitimate researchers gave the public a sense that this topic was more than pure fiction and fantasy, but rather there was a solid basis in fact.

What happens when your memory doesn’t match the official story? What happens when time feels less linear than it used to? And what happens when you begin to understand that the future you fear may not be the only future available? Maybe you are not “too sensitive,” “too intuitive,” or “making things up.” Maybe you are simply noticing more of the field around you. In my conversation with Lisa Wetsel, you’ll hear about: - Why reality may be more flexible than we were taught - What timeline splits can feel like in everyday life - How the Mandela Effect relates to collective alternate memories - How fear can keep us focused on the very future we don’t want - How “How good can it get?” can open a different field of possibility - What it means to live between the physical world and the mystical world - How love, wonder, & openness help us move into a higher way of being.

Selsun Blue name change Mandela Effect
Kristina
Summerville, South Carolina, USA
Over 20 years ago, after I had first moved to Florida, I started noticing a difference in my skin, that apparently is caused by humid tropical temperatures, called Tinea Vericolor. Long story short, the over-the-counter treatment of it was to buy “Sesian Blue” shampoo and put it on your skin prior to a shower, or use it as a body wash. I did so regularly for years, and eventually after moving back to New York, it went away after a while, but I always had a Selsia Blue in case. Not only did people in New York start to develop Tinea Versicolor, I noticed many years later (which I find iteresting as well), way after I was rid of it—but I moved to South Carolina in 2024. I noticed people on TV who lived in South Carolina had Tinea as well, so I was worried about it coming back when I got back down to the south. Not that it’s contagious, but there’s a lot of humidity. Now, almost two years later, I started to see Tinea develop, and so I got some “Selsun Blue.” After my shower today, I was having a bath and staring at the bottle, and I could’ve sworn it was “Selsian Blue” but now—it’s “Selsun Blue”?!? I would have remembered “SelSUN” because I would have associated it with the SUN, due to first using it in Florida, with the humidity and what caused it in me! Why would my brain make the spelling more complex on its own and put “SelsIAN”?!? Well, as it turns out, this is a Mandela Effect, and no one remembers “SelSUN” either! But they do remember “SelSUM”?! Which I also would have remembered, since it sounds like another sentence. In other words, I would’ve remembered these since “Sell Sun” or “Sell Some” both sound like something, yet I remember “SelsIAN.” Just thought you’d find this interesting, lol!
Note from Cynthia: Yes, I do find this very interesting! Thank you for sharing such a fascinating Mandela Effect! I’ve not used this product, but I do remember the name of it was more like what you remember, when I saw TV ads for it, back in the 1970s. The pronunciation of it was much more like “Selsian Blue” as I recall. How amazing that so many people who do notice a Mandela Effect for this product remember it largely as having been “Selsum Blue,” which sounds just as weird to me as “Selsun Blue,” which is currently what this medicated shampoo has supposedly always been. Wow!

Wonderful Driving Experience
Tamsin
Melbourne, Australia
Oh Cynthia, I was practically bursting to get inside after a long day and an incredible experience to tell you this; it’s a proper one, that’s for sure! Lol. I live in Australia and after a very distressing time period (most of this year really) I have very recently moved from near Brisbane in Northern Australia down to Melbourne way down South. I am very unfamiliar with the whole area, and have never lived in a big city. Today I ventured further in my little green car than I have ever done before, as I have been too nervous to go far just yet, it’s such a hectic place. I really wanted to go to a very whimsical market (lots of faerie/elemental stuff) about half an hour away from where I am temporarily living. I arrived around lunch time and afterwards went to get a few essentials from the nearby supermarket before I left for home. I lost track of time and also forgot how early it’s been getting dark in this part of the country, so by the time I left for home, the sun was already setting. I was super nervous and mad with myself for staying there so long. The trip to get to the market earlier that day was very traffic heavy and via very busy main roads and highways. I was honestly dreading the drive home. I put the address into my GPS, and started to follow the AI voice instructions with full concentration. It stated that it was a 36 minute drive. When she directed me to turn right at a very busy intersection, I felt really panicked and deliberately missed the turn and kept on driving straight. The GPS recalibrated itself and proceeded to lead me through a labyrinth of little back roads and one way streets which seemed to be going in the wrong direction and were certainly not the highways and main roads I arrived on. It felt like I was trapped in some kind of circular configuration and the GPS voice was no longer making any sense at all. I could feel a pretty major panic attack coming on, and in my meltdown state I decided that I would just pull over on a side street somewhere and call an Uber to take me home, and then come back tomorrow in daylight to pick my car up. No sooner had I had this thought, than the GPS voice said to, “Turn left in 200 metres onto Sunshine Road.” I thought, “Oh, that’s funny. Sunshine Road is just around the corner from where I am staying, so this must be a different Sunshine road.” So I turned into it and immediately noticed a very prominent factory on the corner that I have seen very often when heading out from where my current home is. The GPS then said that in 100 metres I needed to turn left into my street. I honestly felt like I had left my body as I turned into the driveway. I absolutely could not understand what was happening. I checked my phone and although I had been driving frustratingly slowly due to anxiety, the journey home had taken just 18 minutes. No main roads, no highways, virtually no traffic. I am now sitting on my bed staring out the window trying to fathom it out, and wanted to tell you while the details were fresh in my mind. I feel amazing!
Note from Cynthia: Thanks so much for writing to me regarding this amazing driving experience! I love how you somehow made it home in just 18 minutes after having not taken the recommended shortest route, when the computerized driving directions system said it would take twice that amount of time--36 minutes! And you managed that on a driving route that was off the faster main roads, too--noticing hardly any traffic. How amazing and wonderful!
Nelson and Winnie Mandela memories
Anna
California, USA
In the late 80’s and in the 90’s My teenage/college age children and I remember specially hearing on both radio and TV News that Mandela had died. I personally, remember seeing the pictures of Mrs. Mandela’s widow surrounded by men and the black cars. It almost looked like a news report when you would see Reverend King in the United States surrounded by men and newsmen. But with Mrs. Mandela, these men /reported at the time were surrounding her to talk her into taking Nelson Mandela’s place in elections, to replace Nelson Mandela now that he had died. (I could almost describe what she was wearing, and her hat and the cars; we were so sad.) Periodically there would be film on TV news in the United States of meetings of men surrounding Mrs. Mandela, making appearances at events. I think she really did try to see if she could take her husband’s place. But she was not Nelson Mandela, and so she finally retired from the stage of politics. I remember the months following Mandela’s death and the news out of Africa.
Note from Cynthia: I love how you recount some of the details that you remember from having heard the news of Nelson Mandela passing in the late 1980s, with Nelson Mandela’s widow, Winnie, surrounded by men and black cars. And you recall that Winnie was being invited (or pressured) into taking Nelson Mandela’s place—wow! And perhaps most meaningfully, you remember feeling so sad at the news of Nelson’s passing. I’d love to find out how many other people also remember Winnie Mandela making an effort to move into politics for a while, for those of us who remember Nelson Mandela having died in the 1980s while imprisoned on Robbins Island.
Wentworth Elms back from extinction
Sheri
California, USA
I thought you might enjoy this story. The fact that they thought these trees were extinct only to find them 100 feet tall and having been photographed for years in front of dozens / hundreds of professionals.
“2016, botanists discovered the last two Wentworth elms (Ulmus Wentworthii Pendula) in Britain at Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) are now reestablishing this and other rare species in particular Arran whitebeam, Arran service-tree, Catacol whitebeam and Wych elm, selecting strains with genetic resistance to disease.” And one comment “I found young elms growing here in northern Ireland around the time that the last elms died, I thought that the Beatles could not survive on the young trees as the bark was too thin. I have seen them up to 12 inches diameter.” I don’t love the AI generated audio etc but this was really interesting
Note from Cynthia: Thank you so very much for sharing this news report of these beautiful trees coming back from what had seemed to be total extinction! I’d not seen this news report from a decade ago, and that’s amazing in itself, since I’ve done a fair bit of reading as many Mandela Effect “alive again” reports as possible, both for my monthly RealityShifters News and also for our International Mandela Effect Conference (IMEC) when it was actively going, between 2019 and 2024. I found this news report from 2016 covering the announcement that such big trees were found:
https://www.sciencealert.com/2-trees-presumed-extinct-for-half-a-century-have-just-been-discovered-in-the-queen-s-garden
I’m so happy to learn that new Wentworth Elm saplings are alive and well, too! This is truly astonishing that so many botanists and first-rate gardeners had been to the Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh after the last of the Wentworth Elms had supposedly passed on--and yet, here are two giant, ancient magnificent specimens! I love this back-from-extinction news report! And it goes to show, yet again, that sometimes it is the giant plants and animals that go extinct and then are seen again--like the Coelacanth fishes, and the Giant Galapagos Tortoise, and now the Wentworth Elm!
Time shift with friend
Tray Caladan

I have an old friend of mine whose sister worked for JJ Abrams and that guy did the new Star Trek and new Star Wars movies. My friend, I swear, called me more than 10 years ago and said he’d be coming to LA - his sister invited him to the premiere of Star Wars 7 (that was where we first met Rey, the girl with the stick). I sent him my version of #7, #8 & #9 recently for him to send to his sister. It was a Hail Mary; she is out of the business now: my “stand alone” story had Yoda as the Phantom Menace, talking backwards and the last one you’d expect. Rey was Luke’s daughter in my version and the Star Wars would END. There is so much crap being made into movies so I gave my unique version & he told me. He did come to LA 11 years ago, but it was not for the premiere of SW7! What? How could you forget that experience? I distinctly remember asking, “Can you visit?” He told me he’s with her entourage and had no time to visit. This has to be a Mandela. He doesn’t have Alheimers. My memory is clear. And, WOW, how could you forget? My only conclusion is this was around the first big Mandela changes and this is a different friend than the one I had 11 years ago. Thought you’d find this interesting.
Note from Cynthia: Oh, WOW. This is such a huge personal reality shift/Mandela Effect! I can totally relate to having such a clear anchor memory that you know there’s no way you are confused on the dates or timing of when this happened. And you can see that your friend is stil lucid and mentally competent, so his memory of events can be considered trustworthy. Taking all of this into consideration, I agree with you that this must be a Mandela Effect. And it’s easier for me to say this, since I’ve had similarly super-weird reality shifts with another person, involving when their TV show started. I remember watching Jeffrey Mishlove’s “Thinking Allowed” televiision show on public television when I was still in college, between 1980 and 1984. Jeff’s interviews with cutting-edge scientists and consciousness researchers was pivotal in my future career as an author writing about physics and consciousess--yet now the official history and Jeff Mishlove’s own statement to me when I was interviewed by him and brought this up is that his TV show didn’t start until 1987! I can assure you that there was no way I could even have seen that TV show on or after 1987, because in those years I was working 50 hour weeks at Citibank. Plus I have super-clear memories of rewarding myself for completing physics homework by watching “Thinking Allowed” between 1980 and 1984. So yes, these personal reality shifts involving seemingly impossible differences in timelines definitely do occur. Thank you so much for sharing this one with me. Amazing!

(4) Mail Bag, Questions, and Answers
Dear Cynthia,
I listened to your conversation yesterday—and at last the penny dropped a little. It was when you were talking about your friend with the damaged arm (I think) who had seen you holding your own arm. Of course reality is fluid! Of course there are as many possibilities as we can bring to realisation. That speaks of immense human power and potential. My concern before now (which is still with me as a personal caution) is that in the hands of the warped or the uneducated this is a dangerous weapon. I know that I and those I choose to keep company with are on a path to becoming less warped and uneducated, but that there are still unsafe corners in me, as I grew up in such a polluted astral light. The challenge, the journey as I see it is holding to the pathways, the timelines that bring us to a greater integration with the loving, living all-that-is. What an extraordinary time to be alive in a body on this beautiful planet. It’s as if a curtain has fallen, we have reached a critical mass and something is saying, “ah, we can see you now! Welcome to the community of servants of the Creation! And here is some extra support while you establish the new platform in yourselves”. Very glad to know that you are there, doing what you do. All strength to you as you stay bathed in the loving frequency,
— Jane
Dear Jane,
Thank you for this beautiful email. Yes, this is indeed an extraordinary time to be alive on this beautiful planet! I appreciate your concern regarding people exerting mind-matter influence who are not ethically aligned—yet it seems that there exist some natural checks and balances. Part of the natural protection is that most masterful influence requires deep levels of authentic listening and true empathy. So those who are least loving will have reduced capability, compared with those capable of genuinely caring for others. Most people skip right over the significance of listening, openness, and empathy—assuming that such qualities are “soft” or “weak” and therefore don’t have much to do with anything. But in fact, these are character qualities conferring greatest strength.
With love and thanks,
— Cynthia

Dear Ms. Larson,
I have a question and you would probably be the most qualified to be aware of this. Have you ever come across or ran into someone that claims they ended up here, waking up from a different universe, but the here they ended up in was totally different in a totally different body with everything different, but not only did they have there memories of the last life, but had memories of the new one they found themselves in. I would assume that if someone encountered this situation that maybe they planned it when they decided to reincarnate. I am not looking for the Lamp Story that is all over the internet. But if that is all you know about then I can assume that this circumstance is very rare. Thanks for any information thay you can give me. Sincerely,
— Ed
Dear Ed,
Thanks so much for writing to me with this intriguing question, regarding whether I’ve yet come across anyone claiming to have ended up here having arrived from some very different universe. Most of the reality shifts that have been reported to me have involved comparatively smaller changes. While I’ve not heard of this happening to people mid-life, I have heard of people who feel that from the moment they arrived on Earth they felt this planet was not their usual home. There is a book about this topic by Diane Brandon, “Born Aware.” I contributed a chapter to this book, “Whoops! Wrong Planet!”
lots of love and thanks,
— Cynthia

Dear Cynthia,
I saw the movie (Disclosure Day) and your video about it. What struck me about the movie were the similarities between the invisibility scene and my experience with the emergency room and other places where this continues to happen. Also the Knowingness the woman experiences. I just “know” things about people. Not as clearly as she did but similar. Also communication with the animals. Yes they took animal forms, but again communicating with squirrels, birds and even honey bees has become common place for me. These were some of the little take aways that I got from the movie. Was this a door way to help awaken beings gently? This feels soft and gentle. When the phrase “awaken” started being used, beings changed it to “woke” to make it sound not as appealing. I asked people what they thought “woke” meant. No one seemed to know. But they did know that it wasn’t something that they wanted to be associated with. To me, if you’re not awakened you’re asleep. Big difference in the energy of these statements. I feel Spielberg was using a very soft approach to keep the movie out of the “woke” frequency. A soft release of the reality available to all humans. Should they choose. Sending love
— Leisa
Dearest Leisa,
Thank you so very much for your lovely comments about Disclosure Day. Yes, I share your impression that this film was a gentle form of awakening for those of us who have an interest in Listening and Empathy. These are seemingly soft abilities that some people equate with weakness, when in reality these are very high strengths for those of us who have an awakening sense of existing beyond the limitations of our corporeal physical bodies. Yes, I also pick up great knowing about all sorts of things by communing with them/relating to them. When I feel love for others, there is a deep knowingness that comes through shared awareness. This is something felt by more of us these days, and I have a feeling that this movie, Disclosure Day, is designed to be a good companion to humanity for the next 50 years, like Close Encounters was our companion for the past 49 years. I expect this movie will age beautifully, with ever-deepening appreciation for the way it helps us get and stay focused on inner growth via listening—and noticing how as we listen more deeply to everything with awe and wonder, we live more and more in a flow state, where what we think becomes real (like living a waking dream). As we develop greater and greater Empathy, we can essentially “steer” everything via the love and connection we are feeling. These discoveries are already starting to be noted by people in the UFO community, such as recently was discussed on Jesse Michels “American Alchemy” podcast with Jordan Jozak on one show, and with a couple of Hollywood film producers on another show this past week. I find this interesting, since in the past, the connection between UFOs and consciousness was not so clear as it’s becoming. Some UFO historians such as Paola Harris and Jacques Vallee have written about how consciousness is at the center of the UFO pheomenon, and now more and more others are coming to this realization, too. :-)
lots of love,
— Cynthia

We have got this ❤️
A friend of mine invited a group of us to go see this together. I loved that empathy was a central part of the message of the movie. It made so much sense to me. Not being afraid of what we can't understand - lovely. Such beautiful messages. Thanks for unpacking this!
